Fully Electric Battery Options

The Ford F-150 Lightning provides a powerful, zero-emissions drive, thanks to its fully electric powertrain. This truck features two motors and a standard 4-wheel drive system, making it well-equipped to power your next adventure.

You can choose between two battery options for your Ford F-150 Lightning. Each option gives you a different targeted EPA-estimated range:

  • Standard-range battery: EPA-estimated 230-mile range1
  • Available extended-range battery: EPA-estimated 300-mile range1

Either option allows you to travel hundreds of miles on a single charge, so you can tackle your morning commutes, long days at the construction site, or next road trip with confidence.

Power & Capabilities

Thanks to its powerful motors, the Ford F-150 Lightning boasts incredible capabilities that make it stand out. When equipped with the extended-range battery, for example, this truck is expected to deliver 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque.

These numbers are incredible, but what’s even more impressive is that this all-electric truck produces more torque and horsepower than the gas-powered F-150. That’s right—this never-before-seen, all-electric truck is breaking barriers all over the place! When it comes to extreme power and efficiency, you don’t have to choose just one, thanks to the Ford F-150 Lightning.

Plus, this truck has a targeted maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds when properly equipped, so you’ll be able to tow heavy cargo with ease.2 If you need to transport building supplies or furniture, the Ford F-150 Lightning also has a targeted maximum payload capacity of 2,000 pounds.3

Charging Your All-Electric Truck

Re-charging your Ford F-150 Lightning is easy, thanks to the many available charging options. If you’re at home, for example, you can use the standard 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger. This allows you to easily charge your truck from a 120V or 240V outlet at home.

For an even faster charging experience, you can opt for the available Ford Charge Station Pro. This feature comes with models equipped with the extended-range battery and allows for an even easier charging experience.

However, if you’re on the road and find you need to charge your Ford F-150 Lightning, you can always stop by one of the many public Ford charging stations.

Ford Intelligent Backup Power & Enhanced Pro Power Onboard Means You’re Never in the Dark

This is the truck that never stops working, even when you’re not behind the wheel. See how this all-electric truck can power even more of your life.

You charge your truck, now let your truck charge your home! With Intelligent Backup Power, in case of a power outage, you can use your truck to fully power your home for up to three days, and even longer if you conserve energy.4

Pro Power Onboard is a power output that turns your F-150 into a generator using up to 9.6 kW and 11 outlets, one of which is a 240-volt outlet in the truck bed. When you’re out on the jobsite, don’t worry about finding a connection to power. When you drive an F-150 Lightning, you take the power with you!
